This photoshoot was actually shot in the heart of Gothenburg city. On a very short street called Dicksongatan.
The street was namned in memory of the businessman and patron Oscar Dickson. Dickson especially
supported geaographic and scientific research, including the Andrée Expedition. An expedition from
Spitsbergen to Alaska and also the Vega Expedition .

The above outerwear are truly iconic garments that has been worn for many generations. The original parka was invented by the Greenlantic Inuits and the word simply means’animal skin’. It was originally made from seal skin coated with fish oil and lined with fur. The Parka was later copied by the US army and worn during World War II.

The iconic duffel coat above do many refer to as a ’ Montgomery’ coat after Field Marshal Sir Bernard Montgomery who often wore one during World War II.
