The collection ’LEGENDS’ from the Country Sports Line for Spring / Summer 2022, draws its inspiration from legends within gentleman sports. Utility garments that have been worn in the past by sports legends and pioneers and that have become style icons.

The collection ’LEGENDS’ flirts with the retro gentleman sports wear from the 70’s, with influences from iconic court and track wear. The tennis legend Arthur Ashe, who was the first African American male to win the U.S Open and Wimbledon championship, used his
success as a platform to figh injustice and create opportunity. With his nobel and elegant style on and off court he transcended sports. Björn Borg who later dominated the same sport has with his style on the court also made an impact on this collections colours and silhuettes .

Even the legendary two British racer drivers James Hunt and Mike Hawthorn and their excentric style on and outside the track have made an impact on some style elements and colours used on the racer jackets in this seasonal collection. The colours used in the ’LEGENDS’ collection is classic club green, dark apricot, navy, vanilla and sand.
